The West Michigan Students of the Month Awards
Kettering University, WOOD Newsradio 1300 and the West Michigan Business Community are saluting the best and brightest that West Michigan has to offer with nine $1,000 scholarship packages for Kettering University.
Kettering University is a private, degree-granting university specializing in cooperative education – a program that provides students with up to 2 ½ years of real world experience by the time they graduate, and the peace of mind that Kettering boasts 100% graduate employment, at better-than-average starting salaries.
Award Requirements:
- All graduating seniors and college transfer students from West Michigan are encouraged to apply
- Apply and be accepted for admission to Kettering University
- Complete the attached scholarship application
- Write a 500 word essay answering the question, “How will attending Kettering University, with our premier cooperative education program, benefit you and the companies of West Michigan?”
Awards:
- Winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship to Kettering University
- Dinner for three from the official ‘Student of the Month’ restaurant
