Code of Conduct
LITE Program participants agree to respect the rights of others and to treat peers, mentors, faculty, and staff with dignity and respect. In order to ensure individual success and everyone's enjoyment during the LITE Program, participants must agree to abide by the following code of conduct.
- Attend and be on time for all classes, labs, field trips, and social excursions.
- Pay attention and not engage in any disruptive activities during classes, labs, and field trips.
- Keep my Kettering University ID and key card with me at all times.
- Wear appropriate clothing to all events, and use safety equipment as directed.
- Not use profane language.
- Not smoke cigarettes, or use alcohol or unlawful drugs.
- Read and follow all of Kettering's policies regarding residing in Thompson Hall.
- Stay on campus, unless I am on an authorized excursion.
- Keep my dorm room door open if someone of the opposite sex is in my room.
- Not allow Kettering University students in my room after curfew hours.
- Meet the curfew hours (be in dorm room for bed check).
