Local Banking InformationChecking AccountsStudents and visiting scholars may wish to open a checking account at a local bank during their stay at Kettering University. Please note that it takes between three and seven business days for deposit checks to clear your bank, but only one to two business days for a check you write to clear. Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)To help students and visiting scholars meet their financial needs, Kettering University has teamed with Chase Bank to provide a fee-based ATM on the main level of our Campus Center building, located right by our Campus Safety booth and Cashier's Office. Cashier's OfficeWhen on site you have access to our Cashier's Office. Visit Business Office - Departments - Cashier's Office to review office hours and teller services available. We currently have a $150 limit on check cashing at our Cashier's Office but have made arrangements so that our students may cash checks up to $250 using their validated Student ID card at the local Chase branch (see address, below).
